General information about St. Rita of Cascia stained glass windows

A church does not have to be old at all to be beautiful. In 1975, the little St. Rita church in the hamlet of "Den Hoorn" was built. Are you in the Bruges area and do you like stained glass windows? Then do not miss to go and admire the stained glass windows of Sint-Rita. These are very colorful and modern in design.

Tip 1: If so, are you in the area and love the tranquility of the Dam polders? Then you might want to visit "The Great Watering": a place of silence and tranquility (hotel & brasserie). It used to be a so-called "silence hotel".

Tip 2: The medieval city of Bruges is not far away. Visit there one of the most beautiful squares in Belgium viz. The Burg and one of the most beautiful beguinages in Belgium: the Princely Beguinage "Ten Wijngaerde"..

Tip 3: Of course, the very touristy polder village of Damme should not be forgotten. There is quite a lot of catering (very well known is the bistro "Aunt Marie" - we went there dozens of times, that says enough), bookstores to browse, and so on. You also have the picturesque Schellemolen.
