General information about Ooidonk Castle
Ooidonk Castle certainly cannot be missing from the list of Top.Vlaanderen , simply because it is one of the most beautiful castles in Belgium. It was rebuilt in 1595 in the Spanish-Flemish style of the Renaissance. This castle is still permanently inhabited by the sixth count and countess t'Kint de Roodenbeke and their three children (Count Henry and Coralie 't Kint de Roodenbeke). You can visit the park (45 hectares) there on payment of a democratic 3 €. On some Sundays, you can also visit the private rooms of the castle(upon reservation). More than worth a visit!
