General information about The Burg
One of Flanders' most beautiful squaresis the Burg in Bruges. Pictures speak for themselves, you must have seen it once. If you want to take night shots of it, do so before 12h at night, hour at which the accent lighting (of the belfry, for example) is extinguished.
The entire historic center of Bruges has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Listing all the sights here is impossible. Just go there and allow enough time. We make special mention here of the Princely Beguinage "Ten Wijngaerde": definitely go by. The beguinages have also been recognized as world heritage sites by UNESCO.

Tip 1: If you are in Bruges, be sure to visit the Princely Beguinage "Ten Wijngaerde".
Tip 2: If you love castles, know that around Bruges there is a castles route that you can follow.
Tip 3: If you want a great view of the city of Bruges, climb the Belfry. It is one of more than 50 Flemish and French Belfries that were recognized by UNESCO as world heritage sites.
