General information about Estaminet 't Kasteelhof
Estaminet 't Kasteelhof is a typical Flemish estaminet. It is very popularly located on the access road of the plateau located at the top of the Kasselberg (Kassel, France). You can still drink old fruit juices there (e.g. rhubarb juice) and get old(er) dishes. Authentic and warm interior with a very nice view of the Franco-Flemish plain. Do not expect luxury. You come here to soak up the atmosphere of yesteryear, for the conviviality, for the view.

Tip 1: Reserve in advance because many afternoons and evenings everything is full. Open only from Thursday through Sunday.
Tip 2: You can combine your visit with a visit to the gardens of the Wouwenberghof, better known as le Jardin du Mont des Récollets (just a few kilometers from the center of Kassel).
