General information about the Peace Carillon of St. Nicholas Church

Since early April 2022, there has been a new "Horizon 2025" attraction: the observation platform on "the fathead " - after all, that's how Messines' St. Nicholas Church is popularly called. As you near the top of the tower, you walk past the peace carillon with its 58 bells. Once at the top, you enjoy a panoramic view of the town, its surroundings between West Flanders and the northern French hills. A great tourist attraction!
