General information about View Tower Domain Puyenbroeck

Domein Puyenbroeck, with its 510 hectares, is one of the largest provincial estates in the country. A little hidden in the back of the landscape park, a viewing tower was installed. A beautiful realization. However, we were somewhat disappointed because when you get to the top you don't really get views that are substantially different from those you already have at ground level. At most other viewpoints in the country this is usually the case and the tower really adds value. Perhaps the cause is to be found in the fact that the tower stands in the middle of a wooded area. The relatively limited tower height, about 15 meters, does not allow one to look over this green belt.

Anyway, this provincial estate offers everything you need to be recreational: mini golf, dog walking zone, dog swimming zone, rowing pond, sunbathing meadows, catering facility, sports facilities, hiking trails with plenty of rest points and picnic areas, an event island, and so on. Two large parking lots are provided. Everything is well signposted and clearly marked what is allowed and what is not.
