General information about The fishing village of Audresselles

Audresselles is a typical fishing village on the French Opal Coast. Wide, beautiful rocky beach. It is sometimes called "la petite Bretagne du Nord".

The village is known to many tourists for its seafood restaurants "Chez Mimi" and "La Marie galante" . Chez Mimi is, according to many, "the place to be" to order a seafood dish . We were also guests there and found it perhaps a bit overrated, but to each his own. If you have been there, you can talk about it!

If you enter the village from the North you have the protected natural area of the stream "Le Noirda" (also called the "Noirbot"). There is a footpath that runs parallel to the sea. You will find, especially in spring, very beautiful flowers. The beach there is rocky. There is a small parking for about ten cars available.

Tip 2: Even when it storms, the Opal Coast is beautiful. More specifically, the rocky beach of Audresselles is often visited during stormy weather because of the splashing water on the one hand and the foaming on the other. Read our special page on photographing during stormy weather.
