At the Centre The Sir John Monash Centre receives the French “Tourism & Handicap” label In August, the Sir John Monash Centre was awarded the ‘Tourism & Handicap’ label for people who are blind or have low vision, marking a major step forward in the inclusivity and accessibility of its experience. The Tourisme & Handicap label demonstrates a concrete commitment by the Centre to public accessibility and recognises the effort to make the Centre accessible to all. Tourism Péronne and the Historial of the Great WarPéronne has suffered repeated destruction throughout its history, from Viking invasions in the early Middle Ages to German bombing during the Second World War. Today, the Historial is recognised as an important institution for the preservation, transmission and study of the history of the First World War.
