Popular ships in Flemish waters
Here is a list of some 30 popular ships that you regularly see along the coast and/or participate in maritime events, periodic or otherwise. Think for example of Ostend at Anchor, Voiles de Légende (Dunkirk), Escalle à Calais, Little Ships (Dunkirk), Tall Ships Races (Antwerp), and so on. It is mostly the same names that keep popping up, hence a list.
The list also includes ships that no longer sail but can still be visited (quasi) permanently. If a maritime event is not taking place, this can be a nice alternative . Do it!
Of course, this list is far from complete. Transfer boats are also not listed.

Finally, I would also like to mention that in Grevelingen (France) you can visit the shipyard of a replica of the pirate ship "Jean Bart". A (museum) ship under construction.
