The "Agincourt 1415" center (Agincourt, France)
Have you heard about the famous "Battle of Agincourt"? In 1415, the English defeated the French there. This museum explains everything in detail through cabinets of clothing, the arms of the Knights, explanations of daily life during the 100 Years War, and so on. There is also audio-visual show to illustrate everything. Beautiful museum and modern presentation. There are not so many museums that deal with the Middle Ages (1300-1500), so it is highly recommended.
Tip: About two kilometers away from this museum you will also find a Memorial and viewpoint. From this construction you get a view over the fields where the battle took place. Actually an almost useless tourist infrastructure because... there is literally almost nothing to see (except some fields and an explanatory panel). Anyway, "it is what it is." 😉
Visitor number: 20,000 (2024).
