German Observation Tower Peselhoek (Poperinge, Belgium)

The German army was active in Poperinge in 1940. Among other things, there was a small airfield with an observation tower. This German observation tower Peselhoek was recently restored and opened to the public in early May 2025.

Tip: this tower is close to the center of Poperinge. You can easily combine a visit to this tower with a visit to the "Hop Museum" or the World War I cemetery "Lijssenthoek". Or what about a visit to the historic city of Ypres?
