The bunker of Eperlecques (France)
V1 and V2 bomb missiles were prepared in this World War II bunker. Fortunately, the bunker was largely destroyed in time by bombing raids by the British and American air forces: all northern bunkers were destroyed. The remains can be visited, including inside. Explanations are provided in 4 languages, both auditory and via pancartes. Definitely worth a visit!
Good to know: people sometimes call this bunker the "Watts Bunker."
