General information about Sas 4 Tower
Sas 4 Tower is a steel observation tower built in 2007 on the Belgian-Dutch border. It is located at the intersection of three canals (Bocholt-Herentals, Dessel-Turnhout-Schoten, and Dessel-Kwaadmechelen). Officially, it is located on the "Puttendijk." It is 37 meters high, has 216 steps, and is accessible free of charge.
At the foot of the tower, a visitor center has been set up where the municipality of Dessel, De Vlaamse Waterweg nv, and Sibelco NV jointly present their story.
