General information about Plopsaland
Plopsaland has become a beautiful and modern amusement park located on the French border in the borough of Adinkerke (De Panne) on the Belgian west coast. It attracts more than one million visitors annually. That says it all.
Originally, this theme park was called "de Meli." Bees played a major role there. People mainly came to admire the large transparent "beehive," where you could see millions of bees doing their work.
In addition to the large fairground attractions, there is also Mayaland (indoor amusement park), Plopsaland Theater Hotel, PlopsAqua De Panne and the Plopsaland Village holiday park.
The park is not only attractive in summer; during the dark winter months, there are also regular opening times (think of the Halloween period, for example).
