General information about The Couchez Mill
The Couchez mill is the highest stone mill in Belgium: it is no less than 25.3 meters high and has 9 floors, at first glance you would think "unbelievable"! Yet it is, take a look at the cross-section in the photo section. And, importantly: it is grinding capable and you can still see it working regularly.
It also houses a small Mill Museum.

Tip 1: If you want a viewpoint over the region that is always open, stop by the nearby Peace Mill.
Tip 2: Also not far from the Couchez Mill is one of the new Horizon 2025 viewpoints: the pump pumping station gives you a view of the Manual Valley.
Tip 3: Want to see other mills? Then you actually don't even have to go that far: Kortemark alone has no less than 4 mills. By the way, on top.vlaanderen you can see a lot of mills: here is a list.
