Museum on the Yser - Ijzertoren (Diksmuide, Belgium)
Museum aan de Ijzer has an 84-meter-high (22-story) observation tower with the famous acronyms AVV-VVK ("All for Flanders, Flanders for Kristus"). The Ijzer Tower is considered a memorial of Flemish emancipation (recognized in 1986). Also memorial museum about World War I. Located on the inner harbor of Diksmuide, it is also a place of pilgrimage.
By the way, did you know that you can easily see the Iron Tower from other "Horizon 2025" lookout towers in the province ? For example from the Belvedere tower on the Kemmelberg or the Warande tower in Middelkerke.
