General information about the Mont de Ponche Wind Farm

In total, there are 1,457 wind farms in France, comprising 1,789 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of no less than 24 GW (April 2023). Many of these wind turbines are located on the highest points of the Artois Plateau. We are literally talking about several hundred wind turbines spread across a large area. You can find great vantage points for wind turbine photography from the towns of Coyecques, Audincthun, and Créquy. This specific wind farm has a capacity of over 10 MW. It is operated by the energy giant ENGIE.
