General information about St. Nicholas Church of Guarbecque
In the small village of Isbergues (in the town of Guarbecque) stands a small, tuneful church, St. Nicholas Church, which dates back to the 16th century. It was recognized as a "monument historique" back in 1913, which is saying something. Not to be confused with an even smaller chapel in Isbergues where there is also a spring with "miraculous water."
There are some small, but beautiful, stained glass windows to admire. This old Romanesque church is well worth a visit.
