General information about St. Hubertus celebration Katsberg
Every year a beautiful St. Hubertus celebration takes place at the top of the Katsberg (Goodewaarsvelde), on the meadow just in front of the Flemish Abbey of the Katsberg. Worthwhile for those who love real folklore, animal lover or hiker. Highly recommended. First there is a Eucharist, then the blessing of the horses. Afterwards, horses, riders and horse teams present themselves to the general public. There are hunting horn ensembles present as well as choirs. There is also a small local market. Food and drinks are available on site.
