General information about The House of the Beurière
Nice (ánd educational) to visit when you are in Boulogne-sur-Mer: "la Maison de la Beurière". Is a fisherman's house from the 1800s/early 1900s. This micro-museum shows how the family of fishermen, about 20 people in this case, lived in one tiny 2-story house. "Beurière" is the name given to this maritime district at the time.
A very small organization, with only about three volunteers, diligently maintains this cottage.
