General information about Voiles de Légende
"Voiles de Légende" was a mega naval event: a large collection of the world's largest sailing ships came to dock there (about 50 sailing ships with more than 2,000 marines together). In 2025, Dunkirk was a leg of "the tall ships race" (next year it will be Antwerp' s turn, from July 11 to 14, 2026).
Dunkirk was one of the ports of call in the Tall Ships Race 2025.

The event lasted four days and attracted an estimated 600,000 visitors. That says more than enough about the spectacle of this exceptional international event. More than 600 volunteers participated! Admission was free!
