Saint George's Memorial Church (Ypres)
Particularly "intimate" and beautiful Anglican church located in the center of the historic city of Ypres. It commemorates the more than 500,000 English killed during World War I. Design by the famous English architect of many war memorials Reginald Blomfield. The church is full of items that were donated by both private individuals, associations, and so on. A must-see for all visitors to Ypres.
Tip: Combine a visit to this church with a tour of the famous Menin Gate (with or without attending the Last Post every evening at 8pm).
